THE OPPORTUNITY
Slegg Building Materials is currently seeking a Full-Time General Labourer to work Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm. The wage range for this role is $23 - $25 per hour, based on experience.
Plus a $2,000 signing bonus.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures.
Receive and stock inventory accordingly.
Cut material and prepare packages for customers.
Auditing completed orders for accuracy.
Move inventory using forklift.
Minimize scrap and waste.
Process returns.
Maintain the general appearance and housekeeping of work areas.
Perform weekly inventory counts and stock merchandise.
Other duties as assigned by management.

THE REQUIREMENTS

Valid forklift certification (propane) is an asset.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Basic math skills.
Experience using a chainsaw is an asset.
Physical requirements include:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
Pulling, pushing, bending and torso twisting movements with weight.
