Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration
  • Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation
  • Minimum of 2 years of handson payroll processing experience.
  • Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Solid understanding of national, provincial, and local payroll regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Contribute to the successful payroll processing and administration of payroll utilizing an endtoend inhouse payroll system.
  • Track and verify employee biweekly payroll, vacations, leaves of absence and retroactive payments.
  • Monitor, audit, and reconcile payroll account balances to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare all government remittances as required by law within the timeframes required.
  • Response to inquiries regarding pay and benefits.
  • Prepare yearend reconciliations and reports.
  • Other payroll duties and projects as assigned.
  • Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) Designation
  • Master's degree in accounting
  • Experience in programming and automation.

Salary:
From $25.00 per hour

  • Monday to Friday

  • Bachelor's Degree in Account & Business Administration (required)
  • Certified Payroll Manager Designation (preferred)
