    Description

    Position: Angular Developer

    Location: Hybrid work

    Duration: Multiyear contract

    Security Clearance: Not Required

    Language: English

    Overview:

    Our client from the private sector is in need of multiple Angular Developers to collaborate closely with backend teams, creating RESTful interfaces that meet contemporary standards of readability and transparency expected in public APIs.

    Requirements:

    • Collaborate with design and product teams to offer strategic guidance, practical UX insights, and assess technical feasibility of potential features.
    • Break down complex projects into smaller tasks, providing estimated timelines to help in project management.
    • Introduce new features and enhance existing web application functionalities based on changing product requirements.
    • Identify and address defects in the product throughout the development cycle, quality assurance, and in production client-facing systems.
    • Document technical aspects as necessary to facilitate future maintenance: requirements, setup instructions, implementation notes, constraints, or assumptions.
    • Optimize code when needed to align with long-term performance and maintainability objectives.

    Qualifications:

    • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant industry background.
    • Proficiency in English with excellent communication abilities.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Angular (Angular 14+).
    • Ability to assess trade-offs. Balancing perfection and practicality is essential to achieve goals. Should a visual design be simplified? Opt for a less elegant but efficient approach? Make compromises on storage or performance? Collaborating constructively with other teams to make such decisions is crucial.
    • Familiarity with common data structures and problem-solving: arrays, sets, maps, graphs, trees; and awareness of major security aspects in frontend development.
    • Knowledge of REST (including state resolution, request/response management, progress events, etc.).
    • Experience in frontend tagging with Adobe is beneficial.
    • Experience in implementing AA accessibility using frontend technologies is a plus.
    • Proficiency in using a flexbox layout system.
    • Competence with Git for version control.
    • Strong algorithmic skills.
