Position Description:

Reporting to the Facilities Operations Manager, as the Cross Regional Facilities Project Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that the schedule, budget and details of a given task are well organized.

While communicating with various departments, you will be keeping everyone on board about any changes to the project plan. As well as organizing the reporting, planning meetings, and providing updates to all managers including programs teams.

Hours of Work:
Full Time

  • 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9pm5pm with some flexibility.

Location:
Based in Hamilton at Indwell's Resource Centre

  • 1430 Main St. E. while travelling to Indwell program locations across Hamilton, Mississauga, Simcoe, Woodstock, St. Thomas, London, Kitchener, plus others in the near future. Frequency of travel based on needs. Mileage paid when travelling outside of local city office.

What you will be doing:


  • Coordinating/ scheduling CAPEX Projects for all Programs
  • Performing building audits for all indwell buildings with the support of the building managers and their team
  • Assisting in the development of a 5year capital plan for all indwell buildings
  • Assisting building managers with maintenance projects and building upgrades for all Programs
  • Coordinating contractors for special projects
  • Cleaning and removing excess garbage in storage areas for all Programs throughout the year with the support of the Building Manager and teams
  • Scheduling all electrical work for Indwell facilities on a bi
- monthly basis or as needed through the requests of the Building Manager

  • Assisting in creating Preventative Maintenance schedules and PM 505 manual binders for each Program
  • Assisting with the coordination of flood remediation / restoration as needed
  • Assisting in insurance claims and communication
  • Tracking all special projects including insurance related restoration / renovations / construction projects using the work in progress template. Weekly check in with FOM.
  • Creating Preventative Maintenance schedules and PM 505 manual binders for each Program
  • Responsible for all Elevator testing and scheduling (Load Test) and monitoring TSSA deficiencies

What you will bring:


  • Commitment to Indwell Values and fostering a positive work environment
  • Minimum 5 years of Building /Facilities experience
  • Construction project management, preferably with PMP certification
  • Experience using project management tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, tenants, management, and external stakeholders
  • Technical skills, strong problem solving and communication skills
  • Knowledge of project management best practices
  • Financial and analytical proficiency
  • Familiarity with product development
  • Ability to stay highly organized and balance multiple tasks
  • Background in administrative support
  • Proficiency in YARDI software is preferred
  • Own vehicle and a valid "G" class driver's license
