What it's all about:


Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

What you will do:


  • Oversee project management activities in alignment to the HearCANADA practices
  • Support retail projects including new store openings, moves, closures and consolidations, expansions, and renovations.
  • Create and implement all phases of a project across Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Controlling, and Closing
  • Lead project meetings, prepare and deliver various presentations, as required
  • Ensure accurate information is collected from and transmitted to appropriate departments to ensure relevant decisions are made (e.g. equipment inventory, pricing strategy, facilities leases, marketing, human resources, IT, etc.)
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. Where applicable, negotiate pricing and procurement for the projects being managed

What we are looking for:


  • Degree in Project Management or a combination of education/experience
  • PMP, CAPM Designation is considered a strong asset
  • 4+ years of direct Project Management experience, preferably in a retail environment. Medical/Health experience is an additional asset
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal/external customer and other stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to effectively deliver information to all levels of business (peers, business leaders, suppliers, customers, etc
  • Excellent leadership skills: sets clear direction, energizes, and aligns teams
  • Nice to have: Construction experience (practices and regulatory requirements), as well as experience in mergers and acquisitions
