As a Quality Control Technician, You Will:

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by complying with all safety guidelines
  • Conducting Laboratory and Field tests in compliance with prevailing standards and procedures
  • Perform Field Quality Control Testing (Material Sampling, Compaction, Coring, Crossfall)
  • Examine the sample provided and write/advise any discrepancy on test and field reports
  • Ensure that measuring equipment is calibrated
  • Participate in activities related to the quality system
  • Other Duties as required

What You'll Bring:


  • Postsecondary education in a Civil Engineering or related technical field considered an asset
  • Technical knowledge of aggregate and asphalt quality
  • Good background of aggregate use in road building, concrete and asphalt production
  • CCIL Type C and Type H certifications an asset
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Must be able to work with mínimal supervision
  • Team player
  • Computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • G License and Clean Driver's Abstract
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Available to work outdoors, weekends, and nights
