Inkscape SVG Tracing of Two Industrial System Diagrams

Job description
We need two clean, structured SVG files created in Inkscape by tracing reference screenshots of industrial monitoring systems. The diagrams show piping layouts with chambers, pumps, valves, sensors, and connecting pipes. You do not need to understand the physics — just accurately reproduce the visual layout with clean, well-organized SVG.We provide below reference screenshots for each diagram (the layout is static; only the numeric readings change between frames).
DELIVERABLES
Two SVG files:
- E4 diagram — Complex layout with roughly 60 distinct component instances: 2 large vessels, 5 target boxes, 3 pump stations, around 30 valves, around 30 sensors, connecting pipes, and a side panel
Approximate canvas size:
1920x1080.
- E7 diagram — Simpler layout with roughly 25 distinct component instances: 2 chambers, 3 pumps, around 10 valves, around 10 sensors, vent connections, and a side control/interlock panel
Approximate canvas size:
1456x816.
REQUIREMENTS
These SVGs will later be parsed by software, so clean structure is critical.
Reusable components:
Each distinct component type must be defined once as a reusable Inkscape symbol (or a cleanly grouped element in a dedicated symbols layer), then placed via instances or clones.
Component types include vessel/chamber (large rectangle, labeled), pump (circle with directional indicator), gate valve (bowtie or diamond shape), vent valve (similar to gate valve, smaller), pressure sensor (small circle or gauge icon with label area), temperature sensor (if present), status indicator (filled circle, green or red), pipe segment (straight line or polyline), and text readout box (small rectangle with placeholder text).
You don't need to match the original shapes pixel-for-pixel. Clean, simplified symbols are preferred over noisy traced copies. Think technical diagram, not screenshot reproduction.Naming and IDs:
Every placed component instance must have a meaningful Inkscape Object ID (via Object Properties).
We will provide a complete naming list, but as examples:
vessels as ve1, ve2, c1, c2; pumps as p0201, ps1_pump1; valves as v0101, gv811; sensors as pt0301, pt0102; indicators as ind_v0101; pipes as pipe_01, pipe_02 or descriptive names; readout boxes as readout_pt0301.
Layer organization:
Use Inkscape layers to separate:
background, pipes, equipment, valves, sensors, indicators, readouts (placeholder text like "0.00 mbar"), labels (static component names), and panels (side control panels).
SVG cleanliness:
No embedded raster images, everything must be vector. Text as text elements, not converted to paths. Minimal transforms, prefer absolute positioning over nested translate/rotate/scale chains. Before final delivery, do File then Clean Up Document and save as Plain SVG (not Inkscape SVG). Consistent stroke widths and colors using a small fixed palette (black strokes, white/light gray fills, green/red for indicators).

Reference screenshots for each diagram (PNG).
Clarification on any ambiguous elements in the screenshots.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Inkscape proficiency (layers, symbols/clones, object IDs, Plain SVG export).
Attention to structural cleanliness over visual polish.
Willingness to follow a naming convention precisely.
PRICE is per whole project and it is negociable.
