Are you thinking about advancing your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Mississauga office is looking for a new National Continuous Improvement Manager to join our Contract Logistics team.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Leading and facilitating indepth Value Stream Analysis events to identify and address process inefficiencies, thereby equipping business unit leadership with a robust project pipeline for ongoing improvement initiatives
  • Monitoring and leading Continuous Improvement Events to drive efficiency and performance advances
  • Delivering training for Yellow Belts and providing support to the Master Black Belt during Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt training
  • Mentoring and coaching Yellow and Green Belts practitioners on site, not only to help them achieve certification, but also to foster skill development and career advancement
  • Executing a minimum of two Black Belt projects each year, designed to significantly enhance operational productivity and efficiency, with the goal of achieving substantial cost savings
  • Collaborating with finance to validate project cost savings, in accordance with the country's cost savings governance guidelines
  • Supporting and reporting on Sustainability initiatives aimed at enhancing Energy Efficiency, Plastic Free Operations, Waste Management, Water Conservation, as well as Employee Wellbeing and Inclusion

Your Skills and Experiences:


  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt methodology is required
  • 8+ years of experience in quality management, process improvement or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding or banking industry is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
  • 3+ years of experience in a project management role
  • Certification or experience as a Lean Sensei or equivalent is a plus
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a similar project management certification is a plus
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma tools, including value stream mapping, Kaizen and DMAIC Proficient in the use of statistical software, specifically tools such as Minitab or JMP
