Commissionaires BC is looking for security guards to join our team in Vernon, BC
This is a great opportunity to get some extra hours in this summer while working in beautiful Vernon BC at the Kalavista Boat Launch.

Seasonal Positions Available:

• Monday to Friday 11am till 7pm from July 1st to August 31st
• Saturday and Sunday 11am till 7pm from July 1st to August 31st

Your Must-Haves:

• You hold a valid BC security license
• Class 5 BC Drivers Licence and clean abstract
• You are comfortable and confident managing and directing members of the public
• You have proven customer service skills
• You have excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting patrols and monitoring the boat launch site and surrounding areas
• Offer first class customer service and directing members of the public as required to maintain safety of users
• Maintain detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
• Maintain a safe environment for all, handling any crisis situations in a calm and controlled manner
• Effectively communicate problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
