Description

The Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club is looking for a full-time
Communications & Member Services Manager who is responsible for the implementation of communications both internally and externally as well as improving members engagement and developing strategies to increase the waiting list.

COMMUNICATIONS:

Oversee all internal and external communications for the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club, ensuring its message is consistent and engaging.
Marketing budget development and cost tracking.
Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build customer loyalty programs, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction.
Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all communication and marketing materials.
Website management and content development.
Social media strategies.
Write, compose or edit all club magazine and newsletter articles; collect, organize and submit all copy for production on a timely basis; proofs contents for corrections and changes; responsible for design and layout of page format and cover design.
Establishes and creates print materials for all aspects of the club: new member and prospective member promotional pieces; menus, tournament entries, inhouse signage, etc.

MEMBER SERVICES:

Develop and execute strategies to increase membership (waiting list) and to keep individual on the list engaged and interested.
Identify industry best practices regarding quality service and the applicability of such practices to the Club.
Research and identify approaches to engage members through virtual, facetoface and combined methodologies.
Create marketing and communication plan to promote membership benefits and services.
Provide administrative support to various committees.

Minimum two years of work experience in digital communication.

Experience in a private club environment and knowledge of the golf industry will be considered an asset.
