Some of the Responsibilities You May Have:

Providing a reliable and efficient service to technical staff, facilitating efficient report delivery, and ensuring data quality.
Interaction with analytical laboratories and project team staff.
Responsible for entering field and laboratory analytical chemistry data into our central data management system, making project information and data easily accessible to project teams.
Updating and maintaining our environmental database and ensuring that QA/QC procedures are followed.
Developing pragmatic and robust environmental data management policies and procedures, in conjunction with appropriate Environment and Water Practice staff.
Supporting export of data from our data management software (ESDat).
Producing graphical and numerical output from Excel and the data management software (ESDat).l output from Excel and the data management software (ESDat).
Bachelors Degree or Technical diploma in Computer Science or Earth or Environmental Sciences.
Experience working with chemistry, environmental and/or analytical data, would be considered an asset.
Must be highly organized, with a detailoriented nature and proven time management abilities.
A personable individual who can interact and build strong relationships.
A team player who welcomes a role supporting internal clients and working with them to ensure efficient project delivery.
Experience using Excel, EQuIS, ESDat, and/or similar data management packages, would be considered an asset.
Experience with laboratory chemistry data codes and processes.
Understanding of spatial data reference systems, and the use of GPS.
Knowledge of field sample collection protocols for groundwater and soils.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
