NOTE:
This role is based in St Catharines however is responsible for 3 sites(Hamilton and Etobicoke) and would be required to visit these sites on a regular basis.
ACCOUNTABILITIES · Demonstrate service excellence through effective and timely resolution of matters - making HR 'easy to do business with' · Works closely with business leaders and acts as a trusted partner across all HR functions, with a focus on employee relations, talent management and employee experience · Provides leadership with a 'One Team' mindset, coaching and identify development opportunities to build strong human resources expertise · Consult and provide human resources solutions to support business priorities and the achievement of results · Build strong and productive relationships with management and union representatives · Develop and deliver leadership contribute to the talent management strategy aligned with business requirements for attraction and retention and understand cost implications · Understand total compensation approach and pay application for unionized employees · Act as a resource to managers for employee and labour relations issues, interpreting and providing advice on HR policies, procedures, collective agreements and employment legislation · Manage labour negotiations and grievances · Manage a team by coaching, mentoring and providing development opportunities that build skills and capacityHuman Resources Business Partner and Coordinator
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS · University degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Labour Relations or related discipline or related work experience · HR Certification
