Purpose of the job:

Reporting directly to the Site Manager. responsible for Supervising PI Technicians, administration staff and sub
- contractors for the warranty activities for the STM project. Monitoring and assigning Warranty repairs; tracking budgeted hours vs actual hours to ensure that work is performed in accordance to budgetary confines. Must perform the job with the understanding of ethical and integrity responsibilities. Ensuring Health and safety protocols/procedures are implemented and adhered to. Upholding respect and dignity polices, workplace violence policies and promoting a conducive workplace environment free of harassment.


Responsbilties:


  • Responsible for the planning, directing and control of the workforce including subcontractors. Must ensure standard operating procedures are strictly enforced and adhered to. Reviewing workorders for accuracy and reviewing warranty service requests are completed timely to maintain system availability and reach project goals/objectives. Ensure parts and modification materials are available at sufficient quantities to meet warranty demands. Provide updates to Internal stakeholders and customer.
  • Monitor warranty costs and ensure processes are followed to reduce project costs, improve margin, or improve customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with the development and updating site of related Project Plans, producing for the customer Weekly and Monthly Project Review Documents (Car availability, reliability overview, warranty claims summary and actions, chargebacks).
  • Enforcing health and safety rules regulations and policies. Promote a safe and harmonious work environment free of harassment and violence. Ensure employee safety/job essential training is performed to BT standards and the training remains current and does not elapse. Conducting weekly safety observation, facility inspections, PPE and lock out/tag out audits to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

Education

Specialized or cross-functional knowledge

  • 5 years of experience in a similar role or equivalency.
  • Knowledgeable on Maximo.
  • Fluent English and French
