    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct audits across all mandatory functional areas within Technical Operations in accordance with Transport Canada regulations (Canadian Aviation Regulations ;
    • Assist and support vendor audits for the Approved Vendor List, aligning with the Maintenance Control Manual;
    • Conduct surveillance of activities outlined in maintenance agreements to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures;
    • Oversee Corrective Action Plans (CAP), including completion, follow-up, and trending, in accordance with the Maintenance Control Manual requirements;
    • Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements outlined in the manual;
    • Conduct independent safety inspections, task observations, and other monitoring activities to ensure the effectiveness of both legacy and new barriers, ensuring compliance and minimizing operational risk;
    • Perform additional duties and assignments as directed by the Senior Manager, Maintenance, or Lead Auditor.

    Qualifications:

    • Hold a valid Transport Canada M, E, or S license, or demonstrate equivalent experience and knowledge of Quality Systems within the aviation industry;
    • Possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in transport category aircraft organizations;
    • Experience with the DHC-8-400 is advantageous for this position; alternatively, candidates may be required to undergo a Familiarization (FAM) or Endorsement Course;
    • Demonstrate expert knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations;
    • Exhibit sufficient knowledge of industry practices and a comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities associated with this position;
    • Complete on-the-job training related to auditing, depending on the experience level, as determined by the Senior Manager, Maintenance;
    • Preferably, have completed a recognized Quality Assurance Auditor Training Course in aviation;
    • Qualify for a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) Pass;
    • Possess a valid passport or other required documentation for international travel;
    • Hold a valid driver's license;
    • Ability to travel an estimated 1-2 times per quarter.
