    Description
    Salary:

    IRISNDT Corp. has immediate, full-time employee position available in our Advanced Services Department for API Inspectors. This field-based position offers the opportunity to be based at our branch location In Ardmore (Cold Lake) and may require travel.

    This is a full-time employee opportunity; no subcontract personnel can be considered for this role.


    Job Duties:

    • Conducting pressure equipment inspections at facilities and field sites for a variety of industries;
    • Recommending, planning, and reviewing the results of NDT examinations;
    • Maintaining a valid driver's license and passing pre-access drug and alcohol testing as required.


    Required Skills and Experience:

    The ideal candidate will have the following certifications and experience:

    • A current API 510 certification is required. (additional API certifications would be considered an asset);
    • Holding an ABSA ISI and/or TSASK PEI certification would be a strong asset;
    • Holding CGSB NDT certifications and willingness to perform NDT when necessary is required
    • At least 5 years of experience;
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software;
    • The ability to work in various environmental conditions;
    • Strong written and oral communication skills;
    • Current IRATA rope access certification would be considered an asset;

    Safety Requirements:

    • Steel-toe boots are required; IRISNDT will provide additional PPE.


    Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will have access to health benefits and may be required to join a union affiliated with the QCCC.

    Legal entitlement to work in Canada is mandatory.

    All potential employees will be required to complete a pre-employment fitness examination and an alcohol and drug screening.
