    ROLE OVERVIEW

    We are looking for a Data Analyst who has experience deriving and identifying trends from a high volume of marketing and customer data. This individual will help drive revenue growth and inform key business decisions based on data modeling, interpretation, customer segmentation, competitive and trend analysis. You will help test hypotheses and report on insights to various company stakeholders. You will work with senior leadership to discover new opportunities across marketing, product, retail, and digital.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive revenue growth and inform key business decisions based on data modeling, interpretation, customer segmentation, competitive and trend analysis
  • Test hypotheses and report on insights to various company stakeholders
  • Work with senior leadership to discover new opportunities across marketing, product, retail, and digital
  • Capture eCommerce KPIs (TRAFFIC, PAGES, CONVERSION ETC.) and analyze trends over time
  • Perform deep dive analysis into specific KPIs to understand the underlying key drivers
  • Look at eCommerce performance from multiple lenses including Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations, and formulate a hypothesis for current state
  • Responsible for tracking, reporting and analysis of homepage, landing page and creative tests as well as the shopping funnel to optimize online marketing and site merchandising efforts
  • Collaborate on data and reporting requirements to guide development of data environment that enables analytics and reporting of digital customer journey, engagement and value
  • Ability to identify and define business problems and issues, and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analysis
  • Perform analysis and submit recommendations to improve experience, traffic and conversion
  • Determine with the eCommerce team, the KPIs for each area and create standardized dashboard reports for the team
  • Ensure consistency and reliability in data, metrics, analytics and interpretation of insights
  • Improve website functionality and conversions while understanding and maintaining brand positioning
  • Engage with the e-commerce team to optimize website, channel performance and customer segmentation
  • Has the ability to synthesize insights from different reports, by performing deep dives in customer behaviors
  • Manage report and performance by device, making recommendations for site optimization based on KPIs
  • Assist with budgeting for marketing programs on an ongoing basis
  • Research and provide competitive insight to the team in organized reports
  • Track trends within the business and the eCommerce market
  • Provide insight into business and industry trends and identify opportunity|risk areas
  • Develop an understanding and|or have knowledge of SEO best practices and its impact on traffic and other metrics
  • Work collaboratively with eCommerce and technical teams to problem solve and develop requirements
  • ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Four years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, modeling or similar work
  • Two years of relevant QA technical experience
  • Advanced Excel experience required including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and Charting
  • Ability to write SQL and pull data for analysis
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Omniture or similar Web Analytics and attribution tools
  • Must be a hands-on team member and operate with a start-up mentality
  • Technical knowledge including html, tag management, basic front end code
  • Organized, detail oriented and the ability to transform concepts into actionable plans
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required
  • Self-starter/self-motivated, capable of staying on track and completing tasks
  • Adapts easily to changing environments and demonstrates flexibility in juggling priorities
  • Proven understanding of application test cycles, best practices, tools, and techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, Economics|Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
  • Schedule of this position: Monday – Friday | Core business hours | Onsite
