Description

For more than 40 years, Analytic Systems has supported the global marine, industrial and military markets with innovative and reliable power conversion products including Battery Chargers, Voltage Converters, Inverters, Power Supplies, Frequency Converters and MPPT Charge Controllers designed and built right here in Delta, BC.


Principle Duties (including but not limited to):

  • Effectively, accurately and safely perform assembly, fabrication and inspection duties
  • Assembling product, verifying quality and accuracy of component installation
  • Appropriate record keeping, including jobtime allocation
  • Solder and manually assemble various electronic components on printed circuit boards
  • Install, mount, fasten, align and adjust parts, components, wiring and harnesses to subassemblies and assemblies
  • Maintain a clean work area and alert his/her supervisor of any safety concerns
  • Operate and a drill press and other power tools
  • General shop clean up as required
  • Any other duties assigned

Preferred Requirements:


Education:


  • High School
  • Electronics Assembly Training at an approved institution such as Douglas College an asset

Experience:


  • 3+ years related experience with assembly of products or components, manufacturing
  • Familiar with electronics, and processes to ensure the safe and quality assembly of commercial, industrial or military products.
  • Experience should include some handson assembly, installation or fabrication.

Skill, Knowledge and Abilities:


  • Knowledge of electronic components, printed circuit boards, subassemblies and assemblies
  • Ability to solder and manually assemble various electronic components on printed circuit boards
  • Install, mount, fasten, align and adjust parts, components and wiring harnesses to subassemblies and assemblies
  • Inspect electronic components and assemblies to ensure adherence to specified requirements
  • Check mechanical dimensions, identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies
  • Ability to perform simple electrical and continuity testing of electronic components and assemblies
  • Ability to operate a drill press and other power tools, and experience in light metalwork is an asset
  • Have effective communication skills
  • Have basic numeracy and writing skills in English
  • Ability to read documents and instructions in English
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment

Salary:
$17.00-$20.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
