Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Leader will be responsible for ensuring the products are in compliance with customer and company standards and production goals and targets are met.

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Supervises daily operations of the Production staff as an active contributor/leader
  • Assist with off loading and transferring parts
  • Operate high tech machinery and assist machine operators
  • Perform and document inprocess quality inspections/quality checks
  • Responsibility for the production shift, including preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Ensures compliance of production schedules
  • Ensure the safety of the workforce
  • Identify problem areas, recommend, coordinate, and implement solutions
  • Collaborates with other departments to maintain the ISO quality systems
  • Other duties, as required

Qualifications:


  • 1 year + experience as a Production Leader in an automotive manufacturing environment and/or equivalent work experience/internal training/testing
  • Experience of the metal stamping operation preferred
  • Understanding and experience with ISO based quality systems
  • Strong team building and team leadership with experience in a leader position
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
