    Part time (term time only) 7 hours per week

    We are offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and well-qualified freelance school counsellor to join our outstanding school. Appointments can be face to face or online. A weekly commitment of 4-6 hours caseload with one hour admin is required. This is a flexible role which can be scheduled around existing commitments.

    Applicants will need BACP or equivalent accreditation and registration with some form of professional training either at diploma or degree level. Applicants must be a practising counsellor in supervised practice.

    The successful candidate will provide individual counselling and support for students who are facing challenging issues such as self-harm, depression, bereavement and difficult home situations

    Langley Grammar School is a co-educational 11-18 selective school with academy status, located within easy reach of Langley station and the M4. We have approximately 1240 students, over 330 of whom are in the Sixth Form. The school is heavily over-subscribed and draws students from a wide geographical area and range of backgrounds.
