    Under the general direction of the Manager ‐ MDRD, the MDRDOperator cleans, maintains, wraps sterilizes and

    distributes medical equipment.

    Qualifications:

    Secondary School Graduation Diploma.

    Must be currently certified with Medical Device ReprocessingAssociation of Ontario (MDRAO).

    Recertification with (CSAO) every five (5) years is required.

    Must be trained and competent in the core functions of MDR.

    Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy, particularly inthe operative area, with evidence of training in

    asepsis or sterile technique.

    Working knowledge of O.R. instrumentation.

    Knowledge and skill of sterilization technique according tostandards for Vaporized Peroxide and Steam.

    Ability to work with minimum supervision and in a fast pacedteam environment.

    Proven track record of compliance with the Code of Conduct.

    Salary Range: $26.307 to 26.726
