Description
We are hiring immediately for several metal fabricators (fitter).

Experience in laying out, preparing, and assembling structural steel and metal vessels as well as fabricating structural components for boilers, pressure vessels and plates for tanks.

 Operate and maintain various steel fabrication equipment including plate rolls, brake and shear, drill press, bandsaw and oxy/acetylene cutting equipment.

 Maintain a clean and safe work area.

 Interpret drawings to ensure accuracy of dimensions.

 Operate overhead cranes and lifting equipment.

 Report any deficiencies in material and equipment.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$25.00-$46.00 per hour

Experience:


  • Fitter (Apprentice): 1 year (required)
Crane Operation: 2 years (required)


Licence/Certification:

  • Journeyperson Fitter (preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (preferred)
  • Night Shift (preferred)
  • Overnight Shift (preferred)
