MD Management Limited, a division of Scotia Wealth Management, has an exciting opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic, and client-focused Financial Consultant, Regional Accounts to join our team.


As a Financial Consultant, Regional Accounts you will be responsible for reengaging clients and actively promoting and referring clients to the MD offering best suited to their needs.

You will also play a key role in prospecting and growing the client base.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Build rapport and trusted relationships with MD clients through active listening, responding to queries, and by developing an appreciation of what's important to them

The Must Haves:

  • University degree in business, commerce or equivalent degree related to the practice of financial planning
  • IIROC Licensed as a Registered Representative (RR), will also consider IR licensed
  • At minimum, the Canadian Securities Course & Conduct & Practices Handbook is required
  • Completion of the Group Annuity Sector (PQPAV) (Quebec offices only); Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) (all other provinces)
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of financial planning and financial services
  • Bilingual (French/English) preferred

  • Vous communiquerez avec les clients en ligne, par téléphone et par courriel pour tenir des conversations exploratoires et pour favoriser leur engagement relativement à l'offre de services de Gestion financière MD et de la Banque Scotia, dans le but de repérer de nouvelles occasions et d'assurer l'harmonisation des services.
  • Vous établirez une relation de confiance avec les clients de MD en faisant preuve d'écoute active, en répondant à leurs demandes de renseignements et en tenant compte de ce qui est important pour eux.
Les essentiels

  • Diplôme universitaire en administration des affaires, en commerce ou dans un domaine connexe à la planification financière.
  • Permis de représentant inscrit (RI) de l'OCRCVM; le permis de représentant en placement (RP) sera également pris en compte.
  • Le Cours sur le commerce des valeurs mobilières au Canada et le cours relatif au Manuel sur les normes de conduite sont des exigences mínimales.
  • Permis dans la catégorie des régimes de rentes collectives (PQPAV) (Québec seulement); Programme de qualification en assurance de personnes (PQAP) (toutes les autres provinces).
