    Description

    Brandt is currently looking for a Pilot (First Officer) in our Regina location. This position is for a King Air 350i and responsible for undertaking the duties and exercise the power as first officer of the company aircraft.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Safe and economic operation and management of aircraft.
    • Reporting to the Chief Pilot of the aircraft managing company (currently Chartright Air Group).
    • Completion of yearly training at a simulator facility.
    • Completion of ongoing training assignments as directed and required.
    • Carrying out pre-flight checks of aircraft systems and making sure the aircraft paperwork is up to date.
    • Acquiring information about the route, weather, passengers and aircraft to calculate best fuel quantity required.
    • Liaising with engineers, dispatchers and controllers.
    • Following air traffic control instructions and keeping passenger informed about progress.
    • Monitoring inflight data and making adjustments to deal with changing weather patterns.
    • Monitoring aircraft conditions and passenger needs.
    • Interpreting complex data, exercising hand-eye-coordination and situational awareness.
    • Reacting quickly and making vital decisions in changing situations.
    • Writing flight reports after landing, highlighting problems with the aircraft or the flight path.
    • Coordination with the flight attendant, should one be assigned to a trip.
    • Ensuring the aircraft cabin and commissary is adequately stocked and in good order.
    • The Employee understands and agrees that he may be required to fly other aircraft and to obtain the requisite training and certification, if necessary

    Required Skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required


    Required Experience
    • Must have a Commercial Pilot License, a valid Transport Canada medical, and must be legally entitled to live and work in Canada
    • Other requirements include:

    o Canadian Radio Telephone (Restricted) License

    o Group 1 Multi-Engine IFR
    Canadian Commercial

    o Minimum of 250 hours total time

    o Minimum of 500 multi and 100 multi PIC
