We provide granite and marble countertops and engineered stone countertops for many city major commercial and high level residential projects.

We believe our expert team combined with the newest technologies will provide the highest quality stone fabrication in central Alberta.

Our commercial projects including YYC international Airport, Hotels, Schools, The Bow Tower, Two park and Hines residential Towers Calgary Cancer center, High end commercial recreation center, high end commercial office buildings, WestJet and Air Canada First class lounges and Calgary Cancer center etc.


We are currently seeking a dedicated and talented, full time
Estimating / Account Manager to continue to support our successful business.

The successful applicant will enjoy working in an industrial/ commercial construction atmosphere and will excel in a fast-paced setting requiring initiative, attention to detail, and diplomacy.

Applicants should have CAD knowledge, an eagerness to learn and ideally some experience in cabinetry and architectural woodwork, Stone and Flooring.


Duties:


  • Manage the estimating team and oversee all aspects of the estimating process
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the estimating process
  • Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates
  • Analyze data, such as labor and material costs, to determine project costs
  • Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and proposals for clients
  • Monitor project budgets and provide regular updates to management
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and changes in construction costs
  • Detail oriented, dependable, and reliable
  • Manage and oversee multiple client accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and success
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals and objectives
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of projects and services
  • Create project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all deliverables are met
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or obstacles that may arise
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to provide updates on project status and address any questions or concerns
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project performance to clients and internal stakeholders

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as an Account / Sales Manager or Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
  • Proficient in using estimating software and tools
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • 5+years of wood working / stone industry or related experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and architectural drawings
  • A proven self starter who can work independently without supervision as well as someone who enjoys the challenge of working in a high activity, team based environment.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus, as we work with diverse clients from different regions
  • Experience in inside or outside sales is preferred, as this role involves building relationships and identifying upsell opportunities
  • Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are a bonus
  • Basic math skills are necessary for budgeting and financial analysis tasks
  • Familiarity with CAD software is beneficial for understanding technical drawings and specifications
  • Construction sales experience is advantageous for understanding customer needs and preferences
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
