Working within the Autism Research Centre and alongside an interdisciplinary research team, you will coordinate studies/grants with a mandate for research in pediatric neurodevelopmental disorders - including Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Intellectual Disability (ID), and related neurodevelopmental disorders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and facilitate communication between the project's executive committees, steering committee, and coinvestigators
- On behalf of the Principal Investigator (PI), organize and lead team meetings across platforms/projects with goals ranging from personnel training to database development to refining the imaging and phenotyping battery, etc.
- Monitor progress and ensure the meeting of project milestones
- Contribute to the preparation of required reports (including milestones, budgets, annual reports) and knowledge translation projects (e.g. presentations, manuscripts, stakeholder progress reports)
- Carry out study protocol including standardized assessments, parent and self report questionnaires
- Take participants to MRI and assist with imaging protocol (Technician performs the MRI)
- Ensure research is conducted in compliance with the Tri-Council Policy Statement, Good Clinical Practice, and Health Canada regulations as applicable
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- A Master's degree in a healthrelated field or a degree/diploma in project management
- Experience working with children with ASD and/or developmental disabilities would be a strong asset
- At least three years of research experience required (more than five years preferred)
- Demonstrated success in managing project timelines and subcontracts
- Demonstrated success and understanding of managing finances and budgets for projects
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Ability to take a leadership role as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to organize and facilitate the productivity of investigators and staff
- Exceptional organizational skills:

- Ability to work flexible hours as necessary
