Haccp Coordinator
Hours and Days of Work
- Permanent Full time, day shift
- Monday to Friday
Job Requirement
- Provide Food Safety support to other members of QA and production during the Shift
- Food Safety Liaise with CFIA
- Maintains Food Safety documents according to the written program, ensures that documents are reviewed/revised as scheduled.
- Learn how to perform on site testing and critical control point monitoring
- Assist management of the corrective action program to reduce the occurrence of repeat deficiencies/deviations
- Provide timely and effective feedback to the Production Supervisors and Management.
- Maintain food safety knowledge, remaining informed of regulatory changes and new policies.
- Control any noncompliant product that has been produced, perform a food safety assessment and determine appropriate disposition
- Perform other minor office functions as requested by management (filing/spreadsheet completion, etc.)
Qualifications and Experience:
Years of experience related to the job offer:
- Strong understanding of Sanitation, SOPs, Pre-requisite Programs, HACCP, CCP's and GMP's
- 12 years' experience in the Food industry, meat industry preferred.
