We offer construction services in overhead and underground transmission and distribution systems, substations, fibre optics, as well as substation and transmission foundations.

Valard Construction LP is seeking qualified
Red Seal Journeymen & Apprentice Powerline Technicians to join our team.

We are looking for self-motivated, team player, dedicated individuals who are willing to work as part of a dynamic team that provides crucial support to Valard's projects.

Requirements:

Qualified Red Seal Journeymen & Apprentice Powerline Technicians
DZ licence minimum, preference given to AZ licence.
25kV Rubber Glove
First Aid and CPR
Working at Heights
Familiar with operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment
Experience in maintenance and construction of both transmission and distribution lines, coupled with the ability to follow instructions and procedures
Willing to travel and work extended hours
Safety oriented
Familiar with climbing both wood and steel structures
Experience/training in craning and rigging
All other related duties as assigned by the Foreman or Senior Valard Team member.
Positive Attitude and good work ethic.
