We are currently hiring a Dispatcher in Surrey, B.C

Responsibilities:

Answering inbound telephone calls
Booking drivers for routing requirements as requested
Dispatching of drivers daily
Handling customer issues and providing appropriate resolutions
Providing data entry, filing, and other administrative support as directed by General Manager
Ability to organize and prioritize schedules is integral to this position
Must be able to answer after hours emergency phone line

Requirements:

Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
Must have excellent communication and customer service skills both on the phone and in person
Must possess a high level of attention to detail and the ability to follow a task through to completion
Must have strong computer skills with proficiency with both Microsoft Office products and Excel Spreadsheets
Must have excellent time management and organization skills to complete daily tasks and meet deadlines
Must be adaptable to changes throughout a day and must be a fast learner
