We are looking for an **Accounts Receivable Agent **to join our team. Reporting directly to the Credit Manager, the Accounts Receivable Agent will be responsible for collecting and securing payments.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Ensure accurate and timely recording of cash receipts
- Process credit card payments
- Contact customers in default of payment
- Issue credit notes for claims and allowances
- Negotiate with the clients to identify and resolve delinquency issues
- Report payment issues to credit manager
- Month end closing
- Perform other tasks to support the finance department

**Qualifications & Skills required**:

- Bilingual (English & French)
- Minimum 2 years work experience in accounts receivable
- Strong computer skills in MS office, mainly Excel and Word
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to investigate problems and find solutions
- Knowledge of EDI an asset
- Knowledge of Home Depot / Costco / Walmart and other retails websites and claims an asset
- High computer literacy skills

**Vos responsabilités**:

- Assurer un enregistrement précis et en temps opportun des encaissements
- Traiter les paiements par carte de crédit
- Contacter les clients en défaut de paiement
- Émettre des notes de crédit pour les réclamations et les allocations
- Négocier avec les clients pour identifier et résoudre les problèmes de délinquance
- Signaler les problèmes de paiement au responsable du crédit
- Clôture de fin de mois
- Effectuer d'autres tâches pour soutenir le service financier

**Qualifications et compétences requises**:

- Bilingue (anglais et français)
- Minimum 2 ans d'expérience professionnelle dans les comptes clients
- Solides compétences informatiques dans MS Office, principalement Excel et Word
- Solides compétences organisationnelles et de communication
- Capacité à enquêter sur les problèmes et à trouver des solutions
- Connaissance de EDI (_**échange de données informatisé)**_, un atout
- Connaissance de Home Depot / Costco / Walmart et d'autres sites Web et réclamations de vente au détail, un atout
- Compétences élevées en informatique
