The work location for this role is flexible to Calgary & Toronto.

How you will create impact:


  • Perform the entry of new business, renewals or endorsements into the system through Bordereaux upload or manual entry as required.
  • Reviewing and validating data for accuracy and completing test runs to identify and resolve errors that may occur before uploading data into production environments.
  • Consulting with brokers or underwriters when we require additional information or when there are concerns with bordereaux data.
  • Investigating all accounting or bordereaux premium discrepancies, resolve or escalate as needed.
  • Maintaining effective relationships and portray a professional image with coworkers and industry contacts.

To join our team:


  • You have 12 years of office related experience in administration, data entry or similar role.
  • You have intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, comfortable using pivot tables, formulas, etc.
  • Your skills include attention to detail, accuracy and pride in quality of work.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Having previous Commercial Insurance experience an asset.

What you need to know:


  • Repetitive, transactional tasks where accuracy is essential.
  • Detail oriented work that requires a high degree of mental concentration for extended periods of time.
  • You may provide support to clients who are experiencing a personal or financial loss. A high degree of confidentiality and discretion is required.
