Role Description:

Reporting to the Director of Sales you will be a primary driver of new business in our served markets namely PCS/Cellular Wireless Carriers, Independent Telephone Companies, Healthcare, ISP's, WISP's, Education, Community Networks and Enterprise.

Sales Account Managers assume responsibility for multiple sales accounts and perform duties such as managing campaigns, training members of the account team, identifying business opportunities, achieving sales targets, taking part in client meetings, and doing supporting with other related activities.


Responsibilities:


  • Achieve and exceed established monthly sales and call quotas
  • Follows up on leads, opens new accounts, and maintains a proper product portfolio while promoting new product
  • Conduct various prospecting activities, including telemarketing, cold calling, lead referrals, etc. in sufficient volume to ensure that sales targets are met
  • Expand footprint in existing accounts, and maintain highest levels of customer service
  • Update and maintain accurate records in company CRM, providing forecasts and activity reports as required
  • Attend regular sales meetings, training and performance review sessions
  • Establish effective business relationships with key decision makers
  • Develop an understanding of the customer's business needs and future requirements
  • Prepares professional written and/or verbal proposals targeted to the Key Decision-Makers in the customer's terminology, that clearly communicates the Gap Wireless solution and the Gap Wireless Value Proposition to the customers' business problem
  • Prospect and conduct facetoface sales calls with business executives and directors throughout assigned territory
  • Negotiating contracts, initiating orders and pursuing everything with energy, drive and a need to finish.
  • Initiating post sales activities, to ensure services sold are meeting ongoing customer needs; providing additional training to new customers as required.
  • Complete the necessary documents for the efficient processing of customer orders.
  • Assisted management & marketing team and provide feedback on marketing materials and products |services.
  • Provided technical guidance in support of the sales division interacting with top executives daily
  • Support with training needs as required to new employees in operations, procedures, and sales techniques

Education and expertise

  • Expertise in a sales role within the IT or Communications sector preferably servicing PCS/Cellular Carriers
  • Familiar with selling products or services with a sales cycle of 3 to 6 months
  • Experience building a strong client network in their territory
  • University or College degree / diploma in Engineering, IT, Data Networking, Marketing, Business Administration or related is desired
  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Strong knowledge of wireless solutions including PCS/Cellular, WiMax, Pre-WiMAX, Wi-FI solutions
  • Leadership, networking, business acumen, teamwork, effective communication, time management, multitasking, and computer competences
  • A closer with a proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding quota consistently
  • Effective phone interaction and coldcalling skills
  • Understands solution selling and creating value for business customers
  • Solid sales skills and understanding of how to manage a sales funnel
  • Proven ability to prospect and cultivate strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers
  • Ability to communicate and present confidently to any level of an organization
  • Willing to travel within Canada, when required
