This position is at PKM Canada Marine Terminal LP Vancouver Wharves Terminal and reports to the Manager Maintenance and Engineering in the Natural Gas Liquids Business Unit NBU part of Pembina s Facilities Division Located in one of the busiest port cities in North America our Vancouver Wharves location is one of the largest terminals on the West Coast and handles both liquids and bulk products including mineral concentrates diesel sulphur and grain products on behalf of customers.

Responsibilities
- Champion safety quality environmental compliance actively participating SQE programs daily planning meetings weekly production meetings safety audits incident investigations corrective actions leading by example fostering culture Zero Choice adherence Life Saving Rules
- Inspire guide team monitoring managing individual performance ensuring Foremen Longshore Pembina employees meet expectations held accountable implementing enforcing policies aligning corporate local federal regulations promoting culture respect trust collaboration
- Plan oversee terminal maintenance managing manning requirements daily instructions work notifications workorders work permits ensuring all work performed established SQE standards adapting changes open mind achieving optimal results
- Foster accountability continuous improvement setting firm fair objectives Foremen supporting achieving desired results participating development annual operating capital budgets effectively manage assign resources consistent budget goals building strong relationships customer representatives regulatory agencies union representatives stakeholders developing maintaining positive working relationships Local 500 Business Agents Local 514 Shop Stewards driving innovation collaboration participating continuous improvement process further develop terminal business objectives encouraging team embracing new ideas approaches enhancing efficiency safety ensure compliance Federal Provincial corporate regulations policies taking immediate corrective action preventing SQE incidents
Qualifications:
+- P Leadership experience Progressive management supervisory responsibilities relevant experience operations management unionized sites considered asset li Education certifications degree engineering related discipline equivalent experience TQ certification Mechanical Electrical Mechanical or Electrical considered asset relevant experience maintenance management operational expertise Working knowledge bulk terminal operations safety procedures standards environmental regulations proven ability lead Demonstrated experience managing people assets effectively fostering team-oriented inclusive environment promoting cultural change problem-solving skills Strong organizational analytical abilities incident investigation root cause analysis corrective actions written procedures communication skills Effective verbal written communication skills build trust respect diverse stakeholders learning mindset Self-motivated individual accountable growth development embracing opportunities learn adapt technical proficiency Proficiency computer applications Microsoft Excel Word Outlook flexibility Able work effectively team environment consistently maintain professional respectful demeanor attitude co-workers clients vendors regulatory agencies h4>
