Client Care Specialist:

- _this is a remote position that will report into the Sunly Energy head office on Prince Edward Island_


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Address client inquiries as well as provide regular updates in a timely manner;
  • Assist clients with system monitoring concerns and system performance issues;
  • Prepare service call tickets and coordinate/schedule service calls between technicians and clients;
  • Action higher technical support escalations appropriately;
  • Manage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process with equipment manufacturers;
  • Monitor replacement equipment inventories; and
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:


  • Postsecondary degree/diploma is preferred;
  • Experience in solar or renewable energy is preferred;
  • Criminal record check is required;
  • Strong ability to take initiative and solve problems;
  • Excellent verbal/written English communication skills (bilingualism in French is an asset);
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Experience working with customers over the phone and other formats;
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently as well as collaborate with the team;
  • Quick learner, able to understand the industry from a technical and regulatory perspective;
  • Previous experience providing technical/IT support is an asset;
  • Ability to adapt to changes and pivot as necessary based on business needs; and
  • Comfortable with technology and software (Google Suite, CRM an asset).
