What We Are Looking For:
Responsibilities:
- Managing a busy partner and two law clerks
- Administratively assist with the preparation and completion of all necessary documentation for commercial real estate purchase, sale and mortgage transactions from beginning to end
- Prepare reporting letters and statements of account
- Handle off title enquiry letters and offtitle enquiry charts
- Assist with various other project, financing and development work, as needed
- Organizing files and keeping all electronic and physical filing up to date
- Manage duties related to LSO requirements, including in connection with file opening, client verification, entering and tracking CPD hours
- Produce the highest quality of work
- Handle daily administrative details
- Manage duties related to billing and accounting
- Accountable for all work assigned
- Arrange meetings

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' previous experience as a Legal Assistant in commercial real estate law
- Successful completion of a related postsecondary Legal Assistant or Law Clerk program
- Experience in Conveyancer and Teraview
- Flexible to work over time as required
- Handle time pressure situations and stress of multiple demands
