What's the role?:

The Finance Analyst II is the analytical and reporting expert for the Hub Operations and Support functions
for all of Hilti North America (HNA). This position is responsible to work directly with the Finance Business
Partner (FBP) and provide efficient and timely financial reporting. The Finance Analyst II is responsible for
the design, implementation, tracking, reporting, and communication of the budgeting and steering; and
providing overall analytical support to the business functions ensuring the best possible financial
information for business decisions to support sustainable, profitable growth. The Finance Analyst II may also
contribute in developing and advancing the regional Finance strategy and related roadmap. This role
requires deep dive analysis into topics of strategic importance with the objective of operationalizing the
findings.

What does the role involve?:

  • Develop and execute the OPEX forecasting, reporting, and budgeting strategies for Hub Operations and
  • Support functions
  • Challenge and improve current financial analytical processes and models
  • Support the Finance Business Partner (FBP) in shaping and executing the performance management
  • cycle, including Rolling Forecast, Latest Estimate, target setting and restatement process. Be the owner
  • and champion for the tools supporting these processes in close collaboration with all relevant
  • stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate among the Market Organization (MOs) and Functional FBPs, functional
  • departments, and Finance/ Accounting; gain the trust of the units as a competent business partner to
  • MO and Functional FBPs and Channels Directors
  • Create and implement relevant measurements and key metrics for business results and processes (Key
  • Performance Indicators (KPIs))
  • Track, analyze, and interpret business results and provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as
  • required
  • Explore deviations to the forecast by creating transparency on cause and effect and make
  • recommendations on corrective actions, maintaining the respective tracking
  • Lead or participate in department projects or tasks on an ongoing and/or as‐needed basis
  • Accountable for effectively defining, planning, and implementing projects that achieve company objectives, productivity standards, and cost controls by understanding and defining cross functional requirements, documenting processes, training others, and being responsible for functional expertise, coaching, and mentoring

What you need is:

  • Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, required
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in financial analyses and modeling, with one (1) year in a Market
  • Organization related finance role, required
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills, required
  • Advanced level knowledge in financial accounting topics including month end closing, Profit & Loss
  • Statement (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Accounting, required
  • Advanced level knowledge in SAP/BI or equivalent, preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, required
  • Demonstrated leadership in defining cross functional requirements and leading projects
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, required
  • Demonstrated coaching/training and change management skills
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience highly preferred
  • International professional experience preferred
  • Bilingual preferred
  • International mobility preferred
