What you will do:


  • Feeding the animals
  • Ensuring barn cleanliness
  • Communicating abnormalities, injuries, heat and other observations
  • Supporting activities requiring the intervention of a vet or animal health technician
  • Unloading hay and bedding and transporting it to appropriate location
  • Moving animals

What you need to be successful:

  • High school diploma or related experience
  • Driver's licence
  • Attention to details and problem solving
  • Teamwork and communication
  • Manual dexterity
  • Experience in maintenance and mechanics an asset
  • Experience driving a farm tractor
  • Experience operating a Bob Cat type compact loader
