Heavy Equipment Operator - St. John's, Canada - Tri Star Excavating Inc.

Description

As an operator with Tri Star Excavating Inc. you will be responsible for the operation of a mini excavator, skid steer, dump truck & backhoe. Your job will be based outside. You must able to work as a team and independently.

You will be required to have your own Personal Protective Equipment, which will include, safety boots, safety glasses, hard hat and hi-vis apparel.

Expectations & Qualifications for this role:

• The ability to lift 50 pounds
• Must be available to work anywhere from 4060 hours per week, including evenings and weekends
• Have the ability to work alone or in a team
• Experience with excavation and landscaping work an asset
• Must have a valid class 5 drivers licence
• Certificates such as, standard first aid, WHMIS, trenching and excavation, traffic control, etc. will be considered an asset

Job Types:
Full-time, Seasonal

Contract length: 5 months


Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour
