By joining the team, you will
- Prepare quotations, bids and estimates for customers, within the required deadline and follow up proactively on them within the set timeframe;
- Provide pricing, product availability, delivery and schedule information;
- Provide technical information as needed and propose solutions and/or alternatives that meet business needs and customer requirements;
- Process, communicate and track orders accurately in the system;
- Build and maintain excellent customer relations;
- Ensure that all pertinent information is received from the client to process orders;
- Respond to requests for pricing and availability of products;
- Gather the necessary information from manufacturers for special orders;
- Respond to customer complaints or requests for aftersales service and follow up with the appropriate department and the customer;
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Orbinox products, customer requirements, and company practices relating to pricing, accounting terms and conditions as well as shop practices.
Required qualifications
- A minimum of 23 years of experience in inside sales, technical sales, or a similar role, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector;
- All educational degrees are welcome. Engineering or a related field is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with industrial valves or related products is preferred;
- Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications;
- Strong oral and written communication and troubleshooting skills;
- Relevant experience in quoting and selling product;
- Demonstrated high level of professionalism and customer service skills;
- Fluently bilingual in French and English (oral and written);
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word);
- Must be able to work independently as well as being a team player;
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships, both internally and externally, while maintaining client focus.
- Able to prioritize and manage workload;
- Conscientious, detail oriented, excellent organizational and timemanagement skills;
- Knowledge of Salesforce software (an asset);
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with customers;
- Ability to understand and explain technical products;
