Assignment:

• Full-time 1.0 FTE probationary teaching position
• Duties to commence August 28, 2024 and will continue for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year
• Courseload to include, grade 10-12:
  • Science
  • Mathematics
  • Options/CTF/Com, dependent on the successful candidates qualifications

Qualifications:

• Experience working in an alternative school environment
• Experience working in courses as mentioned above would be considered an asset
• Passion for education and commitment to student success
• Assessment literate
• Ability to utilize varied instructional Strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs
• Ability to work independently is essential
• Ability to teach multiple grades and subjects simultaneously
• Ability to work as a part of a strong collaborative team
  
  
• Must have strong technology and 21st century learning skills
• Strong planning, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Strong classroom management skills
• An understanding of High School Redesign Principles, the Collaborative Response Model, and Differentiation would be considered an asset
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth
