Position Description

PLBI 40- Plant Physiology
PLBI 403 examines of the major physiological and metabolic processes in plants from the cellular to the whole-plant level.

Topics included internal and external controls of growth and development; photosynthesis; nutrient assimilation; plant hormone metabolism and action; and stress physiology.


Delivery Mode:
All course components will be delivered in-person.


Fall 2023 Term Dates:
August 28, 2023, to December 22, 2023.


Qualifications:


Evidence of teaching effectiveness and previous teaching experience, preferably in this course or in a similar course, is also required.

  • Statement of teaching philosophy, including fostering an inclusive learning environment.
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness.

NOTE:

Applicants who have taught as a sessional instructor in the Faculty of Science within the past two years may choose to only submit a cover letter and current CV.
