The IM/IT Systems Analyst (SA) / Business Analyst (BA), reports to an IM/IT Manager and will take direction from either the IM/IT Lead or Sr.

This position is responsible for the requirement gathering, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support primarily for the Meditech Client/Server and Meditech Magic admissions (ADM module).

The IM/IT SA/BA will be committed to a high standard of performance and will provide support across the organization to leverage IT applications aligned with NSH's and its client's strategic mission, vision and goals.

The IM/IT SA/BA performs a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

evaluation of requests for change, data retrieval; and, building and maintaining all system configuration items in line with best practice and appropriate stakeholder approvals.

Degree or diploma in an Information Technology, Business Analysis or Health Related discipline. Consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and relevant experience
-1-3 years' experience in application programming, systems analysis, business analysis or systems support an asset

Experience with Meditech Admissions module in either a support role or end user would be a definite asset
Experience and/or training with healthcare information systems and terminology an asset
Experience in a healthcare or clinical setting an asset
Certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Project Management (PMP), and/or organizational change management an asset
Experience supporting clinical application systems and related services in a complex health care organizational environment considered an asset
Experience creating summary documentation based on evaluation and analysis an asset

Permanent, Full-time Position; 75 Hours Bi-weekly
