CLASSIFICATION:
COOK l

TOTAL REQUIRED 2 (Two) Full Time

PAY RATE:
As per Collective Agreement

QUALIFICATIONS:

- must have journeyman's papers or equivalent
- basic knowledge of all aspects of cooking
- familiar with making desserts
- banquet experience
- knowledge of health, sanitary and storage regulations
- must be dependable, alert and intelligent
- must demonstrate an above average sense of integrity, capable of refusing the continual requests of friends and staff to allow free food and drink.

Must be in good physical condition

- must be capable of following instructions as laid out by Supervisor or Ski Area Management whether it be in the form of manuals, memos or verbal instructions.

Must show selfmotivation and ability to work well under supervision as well as without supervision.
Must be able to work shift work, holidays and weekends
Current food safe for food handling, rotation of food and proper storage of food.
Must be able to teach, support and lead kitchen staff in preparing food items for multiple outlets serviced by the Stemwinder kitchen
Must have exceptional communication skills with upper management and the food & beverage team (BOH & FOH).
Must ensure follow up on daily task work for business volumes.
