Description
On behalf of our client ; we are seeking a highly motivated individual to oversee our inventory management and purchasing processes.
As a Restocking and Purchasing/Sourcing Agent, your primary objective will be to ensure that the company always has the right stock levels while shopping for products to maintain good quality and prices.
Responsibilities:
- _Sourcing_: Find new suppliers/sourcing new catalogs or going through competitors catalogues for new ideas, working together with the creative team to achieve company goals.
- _Monitoring listings:_ Monitor competitors, adjust prices, understand margins, and communicate with competitors if necessary (for shared listings).
- _Restocking:_ Be on top of restocking schedules for different
online stores ONLY
- _Purchasing:_ Communicate with suppliers for better pricing, quality, packaging, quantities, stock levels, MOQs, etc., and send purchase orders to the suppliers.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will need to have a good sense for analytics and be able to identify and understand market and product trends to identify new opportunities for the company.
Requirements:
- At least 12 years of experience in a purchasing or sourcing role.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to learn the necessary skills to understand the process.
- Capable of training others for daily tasks.
- Ability to and improve the process or find different solutions or software.
- Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel and
QuickBooks.
Salary:
$65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Outremont, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Ecommerce: 3 years (preferred)
