Worley Canada Construction is seeking a Project Accounting/Finance Summer Student to work with our team in the Edmonton office beginning in summer 2024 or as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with field purchase order entry into the accounting system.
- Assist with accounts payable functions for the assigned projects.
- Sort incoming invoices by job number; match the invoices to the appropriate purchase order.
- Reconciliation of Time & Material reports to invoices prior to sending to the client.
- Track discrepancies between the Time & Material reports and the client invoices to ensure the appropriate corrections are made prior to the next invoicing cycle.
- Other duties, as assigned.
- Current student available for full time placement (40 hours per week minimum) in summer 2024. The duration of the assignment will be 4 months.
- Working towards a Degree in Business with an accounting or finance major.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office products.
- Must have reliable means of transportation.
