Position Overview:
Duties:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail accounts
- Act as the main point of contact for with the retailer buyers
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Know (through learning and experience) when to promote and when not to promote
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop sales strategies and achieve targets
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with buyers and assistant buyers
- Provide exceptional customer experience and address any issues or concerns promptly
- Track account activity, performance, plan promotions, and manage sales pipeline
- Prepare sales reports and presentations for management
- Represent company in video meetings, phone calls, and occasionally at the retailer's locations and trade shows
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Engineering)
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software and Excel for data organization and analysis
- Comfortable working with budgets, numbers, and interpreting sales performace metrics
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fastpaced environment
- Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and willingness to take on new challenges
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and follow business strategies accordingly
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and ability to work independently
- Self initiator, self managed with excellent organizational and time management skills
