Position Overview:

Duties:


  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail accounts
  • Act as the main point of contact for with the retailer buyers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Know (through learning and experience) when to promote and when not to promote
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop sales strategies and achieve targets
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with buyers and assistant buyers
  • Provide exceptional customer experience and address any issues or concerns promptly
  • Track account activity, performance, plan promotions, and manage sales pipeline
  • Prepare sales reports and presentations for management
  • Represent company in video meetings, phone calls, and occasionally at the retailer's locations and trade shows

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Engineering)
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet software and Excel for data organization and analysis
  • Comfortable working with budgets, numbers, and interpreting sales performace metrics
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fastpaced environment
  • Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and willingness to take on new challenges
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends and follow business strategies accordingly
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and ability to work independently
  • Self initiator, self managed with excellent organizational and time management skills
