    Oliphant Recruiting is looking to expand our reach and as such, we are looking for a dedicated and results-driven B2B Sales Rep/ Account Manager (Contractual basis) to increase our Client/ Employer base. Reporting to the owner, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our client base. You will be responsible for cultivating relationships with current and prospective clients, understanding their unique needs, and effectively promoting our services.

    This full-time position can be fairly flexible with a hybrid work schedule. If you have previous experience in the oil and gas industry that would be an asset, but not necessary.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • 2+ years experience in a sales role
    • Ideally 1+ years experience within the oil and gas industry
    • Integrity, vision, professionalism, and passion are key components of this position
    • Knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
    • Proven ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
    • Exceptional verbal, written and listening communication skills
    • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
    • Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
    • Must be computer literate with knowledge of all standard Microsoft Office and Google Suite programs

    Responsibilities:

    • Respond to internal and external enquiries via phone, e-mail, fax or in person
    • Ensure customer service excellence
    • Meet or exceed goals set in collaboration with the owner to extend client base
    • Identify new business opportunities within the industry
    • Great professional customer service skills, including verbal, written
    • Understand our business and be willing to learn how to promote it
    • Understand the importance of good follow-up and response time to our customers
    • Travel may be required throughout Alberta to engage with clients and potential clients effectively
