Description
We are seeking a motivated hard-working individual to fill a full-time position at our stair and railing company - family owned and operated for 35 years.
The position is for a full time assistant installer to work alongside our head stair installer, a great opportunity to learn and grow.
Specific Duties Include:
- Installation of stair systems (and various millwork components)
- Deliveries and pickups
- Removal and demo of existing stairs and railings
- Manufacturing of parts inshop (via heavy machinery and hand tools)
- Maintaining safe and clean worksites throughout installations.
- Installation of rail systems (when additional help is required)
Skills/Assets:
- REQUIRED
- Ability to work with a partner (and individually when the situation calls for it)
- REQUIRED
- Ability to lift heavy weights and objects daily.
- REQUIRED
- Ability to work in varying temperatures on job sites (hot and cold)
- REQUIRED
- High School Diploma (Minimum)
- ASSET
- Self owned tools
- ASSET
- Working at Heights Certification (or willingness to attain)
Salary:
$22.00-$25.00 per hour
