We are seeking someone not simply looking for a job but rather a long-term career position.

Someone who is a reliable and motivated parkade maintenance worker to first learn how; then to independently perform - cleaning tasks at various parkades throughout the Edmonton area.


In this position, you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities such as driving a medium truck/trailer, operating and performing minor repairs to ride on sweeping/scrubbing equipment, working with a small crew in support of cleaning to ensure that our customer's facilities are both tidy and functional completed promptly.

This position also requires flexibility in your work availability. Shifts are either 4x10 or 5x8. Overtime is readily available in busy seasons.

Maintenance


Responsibilities:

Perform minor fixes on equipment, such as repairing broken wires, hoses, or replacing brooms and filters

  • Transport cleaning equipment from site to site
  • Be responsible for the overall timely and proper cleaning of the site to our high standards; Perform necessary cleaning activities, such as operating equipment, scraping/sweeping floors, washing floors, walls and pipes
  • Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems
  • Report and observe the functionality of the facility's safety systems and enforce company safety policy on subordinates
  • Report to facilities or maintenance manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress
Maintenance Worker Requirements and Qualifications


Over the Age of 25 (Operator insurance purposes); Clean Class 5 operator's license or higher; Able to pass police security background check; First Aid trainable; Proven experience as a maintenance worker or other similar position; Mechanical inclination (absolutely necessary) and can solve basic mechanical/electrical problems on equipment; Experience driving a vehicle with trailer preferred but not essential as we will pay for your training course; Successful completion of on-site training required; Good communication and interpersonal skills; General ability for creative problem-solving.


Salary:
$21.00-$22.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
