Job description
We're looking for an experienced cook for a child care center.
Along with cooking a nutritious meal, following are few other duties to be covered.

Paying close attention to the food allergies/restrictions

Understanding of Canadian Food guide

Delivering carts to the classroom

Washing dishes and equipment as required
-
Responsible for the safety in the kitchen environment

Keep the kitchen clean and organized
-
Follows Menu
-
Kitchen checklist is completed on a daily basis
-
Hairnet, clean apron, dish and drying cloths, and bleach bowl out each day
-
Posting of handwashing signs above the sink, Allergies, and Restriction list and Anaphylaxis plans are posted
-
Record and keep up-to-date daily water flushing and fridge temperatures accurately.

Periodically spring clean all cupboards and drawers, ensuring organization, containers all labeled and cleanliness is a priority.

All countertops clear and cleaned every day and floor mopped
Salary:
From $18.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bradford, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
- Cooks: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
