We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team.

As a Technical Solutions Specialist specializing in Transformer Oil Containment, you will be responsible for promoting our innovative civil engineered products designed to contain oil from substation transformers.

The role involves a combination of technical expertise, business development acumen, and excellent communication skills.

You will play a vital role in educating and influencing civil, electrical, and environmental engineers, developers, and end users, ensuring our products are specified in drawings and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our transformer oil containment products, including their technical specifications, features, and benefits. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements related to transformer oil containment solutions.

Education and Training: Plan, organize, and conduct educational sessions such as lunch and learns for civil, electrical, and environmental engineers, as well as developers and end users. Provide comprehensive product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to increase awareness and understanding of our products.

Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including engineers, architects, developers, and industry influencers. Collaborate with these stakeholders to identify opportunities for our products to be specified in their projects.

Specification Development: Work closely with engineers and developers to ensure our products are accurately specified in drawings, blueprints, and industry standards. Provide technical support during the specification process and address any inquiries or concerns.

Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and market trends. Analyze market data to develop effective strategies for product promotion and business development.

Travel: Be willing to travel to various locations, including client offices, industry events, and trade shows, to promote our products and represent the company

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in technical business development, preferably in the field of civil engineering or related industries.
Strong technical background and understanding of civil engineering products and practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry professionals.
Willingness to travel and work independently.
Familiarity with transformer substation design and oil containment solutions is a plus
